The product is used to relieve the symptoms of colds and flu, such as headache, sore throat, body aches and pains, chesty coughs and a raised temperature.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe contents of one sachet are dissolved in a mug of hot, not boiling, water. It is for adults, the elderly and adolescents aged 16 years and over, and should not be given to children under 16. Do not take it with any other paracetamol-containing products, decongestants or other cold and flu medicines, do not exceed the stated dose, and do not use it for more than 3 days unless your doctor tells you to. Speak to your pharmacist before use if you have liver or kidney problems, weigh less than 50 kg, are elderly, have phenylketonuria, take other medicines such as warfarin, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
