Our Story
Established in 1990, Leahy’s Pharmacy has been serving the people of Tralee for over 20 years now. Originally set up by Mary Leahy, it was then taken over by local Oakpark girl Claire Cronin in 2004. Claire returned to her roots having worked for Mary Leahy in Leahy’s Pharmacy from 1998 to 2000. Claire is our Superintendent Pharmacist.
What We Offer
Leahys Pharmacy was the first pharmacy in Tralee to offer customers a later evening service by opening until 7pm in the evening and we have continued to provide this service to our customers throughout the years because we understand your need for flexibility and efficiency.
Our aim is to provide an excellent clinical pharmacy service to all our customers – to ensure we are doing just that we have three pharmacists in-store to ensure that the clinical care you require is always available to you with a combined experience of over 50 years.
How We Evolved - Our Ballinorig Pharmacy
Our pharmacy in Ballinorig was opened in November 2014. Conveniently located next to Fuschia Medical Centre, it has the availability of free parking right outside the door. Leahy’s Pharmacy Ballinorig is the closest pharmacy to University Hospital Kerry (UHK) and as such we have specialised in baby care for the new arrivals!
We stock a wide range of products for you and your little one. We stock breast pumps from our top brands Spectra, Medela and Haakaa as well as a variety of gentle and soothing care products from Aveeno, Simple, Weleda, Burts bees and much more!
