Elave sensitive hair conditioner is a rich hydrating intensive formula which re-conditions and protects sensitive  skin and scalp. Dry, sensitive, flaky scalp needs to be moisturised regularly to be able to rebuild that natural  barrier that protects the scalp. This light weight formula is suitable for daily use and restores shine and softness  to leave hair strong, manageable and silky smooth

What’s in it? 

INGREDIENTS Aqua (Purified Water), Cetyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Stearyl Alcohol, Distearoylethyl  Hydroxyethylmonium Methosulfate, Phenoxyethanol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Hydroxycetyl Hydroxyethyl Dimonium  Chloride, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Citric Acid. 

Aqua Purified water – the Purified water used in Elave formulations is free from toxins, pollutants and  microbes. 

Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol & Stearyl Alcohol are also known as ‘fatty alcohols’ they condition the hair,  giving a smooth, soft feeling to the hair shaft by helping the cuticle to lie flat on the surface of the hair. Another  function these fatty alcohols typically perform in conditioners is to act as thickeners. 

Dimethicone is an emollient and protecting agent preventing water loss by forming a hydrating protective  barrier. Dimethicone has long-lasting substantive properties when applied to scalp and hair 

Distearoylethyl Hydroxyethylmonium Salt is a mild conditioning agent, derived from palm oil, good for  conditioning and detangling helping to soften and moisturise the hair.

Phenoxyethanol is a preservative with a low irritancy profile, used in order to avoid irritating even the most  sensitive skin. In addition to using the gentlest preservatives; we use the lowest quantity of preservative  necessary to preserve the product to further avoid irritating sensitive skin. 

Hydroxycetyl Hydroxyethyl Dimonium Chloride a conditioning agent that leaves the hair easy to comb,  smooth, soft and shiny, giving volume. Also an antistatic agent used to reduce or eliminate static electricity. 

Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride is a water-soluble derivative from the guar bean used as a  conditioning agent. It is antistatic neutralising the negative charges on hair strands that cause static and  tangling. 

Citric acid is a natural extract derived from citrus fruits. It is widely accepted organic acid used as a pH  controlling and increase the circulation of the skin. It also has antioxidant properties.
