  • Not for: children under 6 years
  • Do not give if: your child has ever had a bad reaction (allergy) to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients, or is taking anything else that contains paracetamol
  • Overdose: if anyone takes too much, get medical advice immediately, even if they seem well, because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage
  • Talk to your doctor or pharmacist first if: the child has serious kidney or liver problems, an inherited fructose intolerance or an intolerance to some other sugars, Gilbert's syndrome, G6PD deficiency, haemolytic anaemia or glutathione deficiency, is dehydrated or chronically malnourished, or takes other medicines such as flucloxacillin, warfarin or other blood thinners, epilepsy medicines, metoclopramide, domperidone or cholestyramine
  • Adults: ask your doctor or pharmacist before use if you weigh less than 50kg, are elderly and frail or immobile, or drink large amounts of alcohol
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding (adults): if necessary, can be used during pregnancy at the lowest dose that reduces pain or fever, for the shortest time possible; if breastfeeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice first
  • Contains: sorbitol and maltitol (talk to your doctor first if you have been told you have an intolerance to some sugars) and methyl (E218) and propyl (E216) parahydroxybenzoates, which may cause allergic reactions, possibly delayed
  • Safety: Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use.
