Lemsip Max Blackcurrant Cough & Cold Sachets 5s
Lemsip Max Blackcurrant Cough & Cold Sachets are a hot drink powder containing paracetamol 1000 mg and guaifenesin 200 mg in each sachet. Paracetamol is a painkiller that also helps lower a temperature, and guaifenesin is an expectorant that helps loosen mucus and phlegm so it is easier to cough up. The product is used to relieve the symptoms of colds and flu, such as headache, sore throat, body aches and pains, chesty coughs and a raised temperature.
The contents of one sachet are dissolved in a mug of hot, not boiling, water. It is for adults, the elderly and adolescents aged 16 years and over, and should not be given to children under 16. Do not take it with any other paracetamol-containing products, decongestants or other cold and flu medicines, do not exceed the stated dose, and do not use it for more than 3 days unless your doctor tells you to. Speak to your pharmacist before use if you have liver or kidney problems, weigh less than 50 kg, are elderly, have phenylketonuria, take other medicines such as warfarin, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
