Disprin Direct 300mg Chewable Tablets 24s
Disprin Direct 300mg tablets contain aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that relieves pain and inflammation. They are orodispersible tablets that disperse on the tongue, so they can be taken without water. Disprin Direct can be used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache and nerve pain, and to reduce temperature and inflammation, such as lower back pain.
The tablets are for adults and children aged 16 years and over. Follow the dose on the pack, do not take more than the stated amount in 24 hours, and do not take aspirin for more than 3 days in a row unless advised by a doctor. Do not give to children under 16 unless a doctor advises it, because of a possible link between aspirin and Reye's syndrome. Do not take them if you are allergic to aspirin or other NSAIDs, have or have had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding or a bleeding disorder, have severe liver, kidney or heart problems, or are breastfeeding. If you are pregnant, have asthma, take other medicines, or are elderly, speak to your pharmacist or doctor first. The tablets contain sulphur dioxide (E220). Our pharmacists at Leahy's Pharmacy are happy to advise if you are unsure whether this product is right for you.
Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use.
