Nicorette Freshfruit Gum 2mg 105 Pieces
Nicorette Freshfruit Gum 2mg is a nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) medicated chewing gum with a fruit flavour. It is used to relieve withdrawal symptoms and reduce nicotine cravings when you try to stop smoking, or when you are cutting down your cigarettes while trying to stop. It can also relieve cravings when you are unable to smoke, for example on a plane or at the cinema. As part of a stop smoking programme, the 2mg gum can sometimes be used together with Nicorette Invisi 15mg and 10mg patches, which may suit heavy smokers or people with breakthrough cravings.
The 2mg strength is for adults aged 18 and over who smoke 20 or fewer cigarettes a day, and for heavier smokers who are stepping down from the 4mg gum. Chew it slowly until the taste becomes strong, rest it between your gum and cheek, and chew again when the taste fades, for about half an hour; this is different from ordinary chewing gum. Use one piece at a time, up to a maximum of 15 pieces a day. Do not use it if you are a non-smoker, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless advised by your doctor. Check with our pharmacist or your doctor first if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, a stomach ulcer, liver or kidney disease, an overactive thyroid, diabetes or a history of seizures, or if you take other regular medicines. The freshfruit gum does not contain sucrose or sorbitol.
