ANADIN REGULAR TABLETS 24S
Anadin Analgesic Film-coated Tablets are a pain-relief medicine that combines aspirin with caffeine. Each tablet contains 325 mg aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that relieves pain and inflammation and reduces fever, and 15 mg caffeine, which increases the pain-relieving effect. The tablets are for the relief of pain of headache, neuralgia, colds and flu, rheumatic pain, period pain, dental pain and toothache.
They are for adults and the elderly, for short-term use only, and are swallowed with a drink of water. Follow the dose on the pack and use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time. Do not give to children and adolescents under 16 years unless advised by a doctor, because of a possible link between aspirin and Reye's syndrome. Do not take them if you have or have had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding, have a bleeding disorder, heart disease, high blood pressure or kidney failure, or if you take blood thinners or other aspirin or NSAID medicines. Do not use while breastfeeding or in the last three months of pregnancy; if you are pregnant or trying to conceive, speak to your pharmacist or doctor first. See a doctor if symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days. Our pharmacists at Leahy's Pharmacy are happy to advise if you are unsure whether this product is right for you.
Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use.
