Ardo 15mm Soft Silicone Breast Shell Inserts (PAIR)

The 15mm silicone insert is designed to work seamlessly with all Ardo pumpsets, offering increased comfort and efficiency during milk expression. It is compatible with the following breast shells (sold separately):

• Traditional Pumpset 26mm Breast Shell
• Hands-Free Pumpset 24mm Breast Shell
• Melia Wearable 24mm Breast Shell

Comfortable and Gentle: The soft silicone insert provides a gentle touch against the skin, enhancing comfort during milk expression. Comfort plays an important role in milk production, and the insert’s smooth surface helps ensure a more comfortable experience.

The right fit is crucial to maximizing milk flow and overall expression efficiency. To achieve the best results, make sure you select the correct size breast shell for both your nipple and your breast pump.

A well-fitted breast shell ensures:

• Your nipple fills most of the funnel, with room to move freely inside.
• The nipple moves in sync with the pump's rhythmic action.
• There is minimal areola tissue drawn into the funnel.
• Milk flows smoothly, and your breast feels soft after expressing.

Signs the breast shell is too big:
• Excess areola is drawn into the funnel.
• Air gaps form between the shell and your chest.
• Pumping feels uncomfortable.

Signs the breast shell is too small:
• The nipple rubs against the sides of the funnel.
• Pumping is uncomfortable, even with a low vacuum setting.
• Milk flow is slow, and you express less than expected.

Cleaning: The 15mm silicone insert can be cleaned using the same methods as the breast shell:
• Hand wash with dish soap, rinse well, and air dry.
• Boil in water, then air dry.
• Use a steam cleaning bag or container, and then air dry.

Note: Silicone is sensitive to light and may discolor over time. Its slightly tacky surface can attract dust, so we recommend storing the insert in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and dust.
