Caldesene 10% w/w Medicated Powder 55g

Caldesene 10% w/w Medicated Powder is a white, perfumed, free-flowing powder for use on the skin. It contains calcium undecylenate 10% w/w, which has antibacterial and antifungal properties. It is used for the prevention and treatment of local rashes of the buttocks due to friction and irritation, particularly those at risk of infection such as nappy rash.

For nappy rash, cleanse and dry the affected area and sprinkle on the powder after each nappy change, or as directed by a doctor. To help prevent a rash, apply to the area as required. There is no fixed dosing schedule, and the powder is for use on the skin only. Do not use it if you are sensitive to calcium undecylenate or to any of the other ingredients. The perfume contains benzyl benzoate, which may be a mild irritant to the skin, eyes and mucous membranes; stop using the powder if skin irritation occurs. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if a rash does not settle, speak to your pharmacist or doctor.
