Calpol 120mg/5ml Sugar Free Infant Oral Suspension 60ml is a paracetamol medicine that relieves pain and brings down a high temperature in babies and children from 2 months to 6 years.
The paracetamol in this suspension is used to relieve pain such as tooth pain, headache, sore throat and the aches and pains that come with colds and flu. It also brings down fever (high temperature).
It is a strawberry flavoured liquid with no added sugar, and an oral syringe is supplied in the pack so small doses can be measured accurately. Shake the bottle well and give the dose shown in the leaflet table for your child's age. It must not be given to babies under 2 months old, or to a child weighing less than 4 kg; for babies aged 2 to 3 months, check the leaflet carefully and speak to your pharmacist or doctor. Do not give it at the same time as any other medicine containing paracetamol, and talk to a doctor if your child does not feel better after 3 days.
