Jelonet Paraffin Gauze Dressing 5cm x 5cm 50 Pack is a sterile, low-adherent paraffin gauze wound contact dressing.
- Pack: 50 dressings, individually sterile
- Format: Open-weave (leno) gauze impregnated with soft paraffin, 5cm x 5cm
- Intended use: A primary wound contact layer for minor burns and scalds, donor and recipient skin graft sites, skin loss, lacerations, abrasions and leg ulcers
- Key features: Low-adherent; latex-free; non-medicated, so it can be used alongside a topical antiseptic or antibiotic of choice; interlocking threads help the gauze keep its shape and resist fraying when cut to size; allows free drainage into a secondary dressing
- How to use: Apply the dressing to the wound as the contact layer and cover with a suitable secondary absorbent dressing. Cut to shape if required. Single use only.
