Nicotinell TTS 30 21mg/24 Hours Transdermal Patch is a nicotine replacement therapy that helps you stop smoking as part of an overall treatment programme, by relieving nicotine withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Each patch contains 52.5mg of nicotine and releases on average 21mg over 24 hours through the skin. A support programme will increase your chances of quitting, and you should stop smoking completely while using the patches.

TTS 30 is Step 1 of the three-step Nicotinell programme and is for people who smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day, before stepping down to TTS 20 (14mg) and then TTS 10 (7mg); the programme usually lasts about 3 months. Apply one patch each day to clean, dry, hairless skin such as the chest, back, hip or upper arm, press it firmly for at least 20 seconds, and use a different site each day. The patch is worn day and night, but if you are pregnant it should be removed before going to bed. Do not cut patches. Do not use them if you have had a recent heart attack or stroke, have a skin disease that the patch might aggravate, or are pregnant or breastfeeding unless advised by your doctor. Speak to our pharmacist or your doctor first if you have heart problems, liver or kidney problems, a history of stomach ulcers, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, poor circulation or seizures, or take other medicines.

Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use.
