Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream is a medicine for external use on the skin. It is authorised for the management of various dermatoses (skin conditions), including local skin reactions associated with incontinence. The cream is smooth, white and lavender scented, and is based on zinc oxide, a dermatological agent with astringent, soothing and protective properties, combined with benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, benzyl cinnamate and lanolin. This listing is the 250g pot.

Apply a thin layer, with a suitable covering where necessary, and renew the application as required; no different directions are needed for adults, children or the elderly. Keep the cream away from the eyes and mucous membranes. It should not be used by anyone allergic to its ingredients, or on babies under 4 weeks old with open wounds or large areas of broken or damaged skin, such as burns. Sodium benzoate, propylene glycol and butylated hydroxyanisole in the cream may occasionally cause local skin reactions. Consult a doctor if the condition does not improve or gets worse. For advice on whether it suits a particular skin problem, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to our pharmacist.

Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use.
